new, made in the USA, pilot friendly electric automatic direction indicator (ADI). It's an artificial horizon, direction indicator and a turn/slip indicator all rolled into one instrument.
Bank is instantaneous gyro data. Pitch is gyro enhanced vertical speed. Direction is a electronic display showing track in degrees (with the GPS option). Extreme bank angle is enunciated by flashing red arrows indicating the required stick motion to correct an unusual attitude. Low airspeed warning is shown as a flashing "AS" (airspeed) on the display.
It's lightweight, easy to fit and easy to use in bright sunlight unlike "glass" electronic instruments. For those on a budget is combines the function of two $3000 gyro instruments into one unit. It's also 12v powered so there are no vacuum pumps to buy or vacuum pump filters to change. Not certified and not for instrument flight rules (IFR) use. Complete with 12 month factory guarantee, fits in standard 3" instrument hole. OK for tailwheel aircraft.

In contrast to a conventional "Bat and Ball" indicator, the
Pictorial Turn & Bank gyro instrument provides a display that agrees with the artificial horizon, and likewise the real horizon. This display is like an artificial horizon in roll and actually moves in unison with it. The performance of this easy to read colour display is equivalent to that of an artificial horizon yet the price is much lower.
For aircraft where space is limited with 2 1/4 inch hole sized version is ideal. With the balance "ball" included in this instrument you save even more space and $$'s. Consider replacing your old black and white slip indicator with a new easy to use colour turn and bank indicator.

This original aircraft
Electrical Turn Coordinator is used for displaying an aircraft angular rate of turn and/or sideslip; an electrically-driven "rate" gyroscope. A balance ball is included within the instrument as well as a power failure flag. The Turn Coordinator can be used with either 14VDC or 28VDC power system. This instrument does not differentiate between roll and yaw so does not replace an ADI or AH. Compact in size, light weight and often used as a back up gyro instrument for the an Automatic Direction Indicator (ADI) or Artificial Horizon (AH).
