large screen electronic flight instrument system. The 7" screen display features large, easy to read text and graphics and is capable of displaying multiple pages side by side in a split-screen format. The
EFIS-D100 is all electronic, it does not need vacuum pumps, has no gyros inside, in fact it contains no moving parts whatsoever. The
EFIS-D100 can not be damaged by aggressive flight manoeuvers or unusual attitudes like conventional gyros.
The
EFIS-D100 instrument integrates multiple flight instruments, including airspeed, altitude, gyro-stabilized magnetic compass, turn rate, slip/skid ball, bank angle, and vertical speed. Other useful functions include a navigation Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI), clock/timer, G-meter, voltmeter, true airspeed and angle of attack capability, altitude encoder output, and even an aircraft check list.
