The photo does not do it justice - the ICOM 400PRO is small, compact and solid with its metal case. It's over designed with a 25 watt capable engine and it proves its worth with clear reception and clean transmittion in all conditions. It's Australia's "top of the line" panel mount UHF CB radio.

Designed for the most extreme Australian conditions. Die-cast aluminium chassis and heavy-duty heat sink, impact resistant front panel incorporating a built in speaker for crisp clear audio, even in high noise environments. Meets U.S Military specifications for dust, shock and vibration.

128 Channel Capability
The 400PRO comes pre-programmed with the 40 UHF CB channels plus up to 88 additional channels are available to listening to in the 450MHz to 500MHz frequency band. Channel data entry is available through the front panel, or via PC programming kit.

Unique Repeater Scan
ICOMs unique Repeater Search function automatically finds available repeater stations while you are traveling.

Open/ Group/ Priority Scan
Scan all, or only selected channels, while also monitoring your priority channel.

Silent Stand-By
Listen only to your own group! Up to 51 user selectable group codes are available for silent stand-by operation.

SelCall (Selective Calling)
Hear only the calls intended for you and see who called with Selcall! The 400PRO comes with all popular CB and commercal 5-Tone Selcall formats, along with user selectable ID number set up. The last 10 caller ID's are stored for easy recall and up to 28 numbers can be preprogrammed with name tags for easy reference (software required).

Smart Ring and Automatic Transponder
Acknowledges if other Icom 400PRO radios or the Joey handheld transceivers call or are within rage. This feature is available when software activated.

Power Upgrade Feature
The 400PRO comes standard with a 5W output, it's also fully approved to transmit on the Licenced Land Mobile Services band, at 25W within the 450-500MHz frequency band when re-configured by an Authorised Icom Radio Dealer. (* ACA license required)
